Christmas for me the last 15 years has meant Chaos. On staff primarily on the arts team at a growing church has made me want to scream every year about this time. This is the first year that I’m not singing or playing guitar or reading a script. I just get to film a few videos to play at the Christmas services. It’s really allowed me to take it all in this year. 

My pre-Christmas sermon prep is really going well this week. That’s the first time for that? What’s up with all this peace for me this year? 

Whatever the reason, I really need it. I know you do too. I’m praying you’ll take a few minutes during the service this week and connect deeply with God. Maybe even prep your heart before you head to church this weekend. Pray that you’ll allow yourself to be used and molded by God this Christmas season so that we can be a church/congregation that thinks and acts beyond ourselves.
